I'm beyond happy to share with everyone that our end of month paycheck for June includes $15,000 of back pay for housing and separation allowances. They've also taken back the COLA we have erroneously been paid since January, so we should be even once this check gets deposited.
I'm also happy to share that while we still don't have orders - or an RFO - we think we'll have an RFO soon that will allow us to all be together again before another month passes. I'm having flashbacks to the last time we PCS'd from Dhaka when we didn't have orders in hand until 5 days before we got on the airplane. We still managed to get movers scheduled, get plane tickets, and get everything packed up. It's like procrastinating, but not on purpose. When you wait 'til the last minute, it only takes a minute to get everything done. June is shaping up to be a pretty good month.
